Since 2006 I have been involved in the rescue and rehabilitation of cetaceans in need at SOS Dolfijn, the Netherlands. Hundreds of animals have been under our care. Supported with the help of dozens of volunteers and collegues. In the period from 2004-2025 the organization has became world leading in animal rescue with success rate over 50%. I have transferred SOS Dolfijn from the previous location in Harderwijk to the new location in Anna Paulowna and designed and coordinated the building of an intergral educational whale rescue centre. I have learned to be succesful in fundraising, communication, cetacean rescue and rehabilitation and to be a reliable spokes person to the media and press and have been providing trainings for many rescuers along the European coast line. And off course I am standby 24/7 and happy to share my knowledge around the globe.
